*hic*

Du du du....where have I been?

In a void.

===================

Woohooo Vinz is back from offshore! He kept reminding me, even called from offshore, how much he wanna get me so dead drunk when he comes back. His first attempt was last Friday by bring me and Char out to Thai Bar after watching Wall-E. Didn't work, I was sleepy. And you can't get a sleepy pig drunk. It beats the logic.

Second attempt was at my place last Saturday nite where we intro-ed all our girlfriends our very own Illusion/Screwdriver drink. I was tipsy, and I think it was just the wrong time to be in that blissful state BECAUSE....it was raining so heavily that time and the roof in my computer room was leaking fast. And I had to carefully climb up the ladder to put the baldi on top of the bookshelves. It's hard work you know, being wobbly and all that!

And I believe I wasn't really making much sense to myself that night. I was wanting to pour Sprite in my glass and for no reason at all, I actually shook the half opened bottle, giving the senyum kambing look at Julie, and then....
*SWOOOOOOOSSSSSSSHHHHHHPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTT*

How I reacted in that spur of moment?

SWWO...ooOooo...OOOSSSHHH.......Hahahaha *take a step left*....PPPFFFFF......Ohhhh Maaiiii Gaaadd *take a step right*.....FFFFFTTTTTTTT!!!

You can imagine the looks I get from my friends......-_-"

[Note: To be honest my mind was very much disconnected from the world for the whole of last week (can I blame it on PMS?) and I was constantly feeling frustrated, depressed and tired for no reason. Hence, my nonsensical act. So I'm sorry if I've hurt anyone. Not sorry if I was right to do so nyehehe....]

Few days later, the Sprite moment was still a hot topic. Julie asked how did that happened, I could only tell her "Fizzy bottle drinks have become an estranged object to me".

Anyways...no, wasn't dead drunk. And I'm very much certain there's gonna be a 3rd attempt. And 4th and 5th.....

A Good Friend Never Gives Up On You.

I'm sure they were referring to something non-alc when they said this.

It's Merdeka soon. What are your plans?

Jessica Sutta / Blog / WHPH

I checked out Jessica Sutta of Pussycat Dolls and I saw this great dance of hers which just WOW-ed me. Gee, how was she discovered in the first place? Leg-spreadin'?

=================================

A big thanks to Elsa who gave me the right spelling to a blog I've been trying to find. I wanted to check out the photos this lady blogger took during the Double Celebration my family and I attended last July. I asked for her blog address and the party was so noisy I really thought I got it right. The blog username is the word in some language for erm...vagina? The blog's got a mixture of Iban and English language in there.

Found that she got our family surname's wrong in there. Blehh...

=================================

I attended a Women's Get Together organized by colleagues from the Women's Network of the Finance dept for our Work Hard Play Hard (WHPH) day. The programme involved lunch at 2pm, relax and chit chat among women.

Okay, so it really doesn't look anything like my scene but I just thought, what the heck? I was told to come for the good food. The best dish I had was Nasi Kerabu....on blue rice.

The desserts were the splendid killer. There was carrot cake, blueberry cheesecake, eggless chocolate cake, and lots of other cakes.

Later on there was Poco Poco dancin'. Winner takes the home-made embroidered towel. I didn't get any. Imagine me, the so-called dyke doin' the Poco Poco? Very disturbing scene...but I did the Poco Poco anyways.

Was so pooped by the time I arrived home. Went out abit later to catch up with Nic and Julie over at Al Fresco. It was hard to believe that my phone beeped a message.

Kavukz : Cheeky Seng....where u?

At that moment, Piag thought of 2 things...

1) the woman saw me and is within vicinity and decides to stalk me.
2) the woman saw me and is within vicinity and becomes the lie detector to see if I'm gonna lie on my whereabouts. And THEN stalk me.

Kavukz and Marj was bored to death with each other so I told her to join us. I warned told her that Al Fresco is for dangerous people like me to hang out where I am and that my friends are not the kind you wanna bring home to your mama friendly and crazy and fun.

Apparently Marj and Nic knew each other from secondary school. Julie and Nic had to leave since they're working on Saturday (which they hate me for not suffering with them), so I was left with the 2 chicas. And oh they were naughty. They were very....very....naughty. *evil grin*

In fact, they were so naughty..................

..................they wanted to pose with my beer bottle.

Kavukz & Marj

Gotcha!

Anyways, it's been an adventurous night....*snorts*

Random Thoughts....

Early morning of last Monday, I had a surprising call from Brian on my mobile.

Karen : Hello?
Brian : Hello good morning Aunty Regina, this is Brian Kho here, I...*muttermuttermutter*
Karen : *stoned* ......Err...
Brian : Er.....it's Brian? Charlotte's colleague?
Karen : Nooo.......erm.......mmmphh......hehehe......it's Karen here.
Brian : Hoh?
Karen : Yeah...
Brian : Oooooh...I'm gonna kill Charlotte.
Karen : Hmm...*gigglegiggle*

The call came before 9am (Pigs don't even wake at that hour. Or do they?).

A few hours later...

Brian : =.= still laughing your head off?
Karen : yes.....
Brian : zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Karen : Because it's so funny...
Brian : Thanx to Char...
Karen : yes....

========================================

I was at the photocopy machine when one of the team leaders came and talked to me.

Mgr : I'm soo happy.
Karen : Oooo, something good happened?
Mgr : Yes, seeing you smile.

[Piagster fluttered her wings, feeling flattered]

He asked if I have a boyfriend. Again, I answered "Too many". He said eventually will have one and ONLY one, and sure enough I believed him. He put up this phrase where I think I like hearing it...

Marriage is Complementary.

========================================

Char was viewing Pussycat Doll's new vid "When I Grow Up". Was viewing the picture of Jessica Sutta and I turned to Charlotte...

Karen : If I was a guy, do you think Jessica Sutta would suit as my girlfriend?
Char : mmMmm...looks good.
Karen : Hehe...
Char : Actually, ANY of the Pussycat Dolls......
Karen : HAHAHAHAHA!!! *clap clap*

Pig turned shopper

I'm back! Boy am I exhausted. And gosh, where do I start?

Wednesday
Mala and I left for KL at the 8:45pm flight. My mind didn't know what to anticipate on this trip, but it definitely fulfilled the aim to get out of town. Got out of the plane by 11pm. The bus to KL Sentral was abit freaky, hearing how loud the absorbers react with any road bumps (aiyerr). Arrived KL Sentral at 12:15am. Mala's sis picked us up. She intro-ed herself as 2way. LOL, that's like, a secret mafia name or something. I don't have a secret mafia name but Pig oughta do the trick. You'd imagine a big pork belly person guarding on the secret door validating every special mafia knockings. Huhuhu...

I find 2way a funny girl just after 2 minutes of conversation. We dropped by to see 2way's pal, Yanti, switched cars, picked Mala's nephew Mikal and off we went to the pasar malam over at Taman Tun (short for Taman Tun Ismail blablabla I'm an outsider). I don't call it shopping but I started buying from there. I got meself a pair of jeans and a shirt. Wohoo...Piagster cheered for spending.

We had supper at freakin 2am and tried this new dish called kerang rebus (boiled clams). I only had one coz I was abit full. Wasn't used to anything new since I was getting sleepy. We arrived 2way's place around 3am, showered and managed to sleep at 4am. Oh yeah, I got introduced to their pet cat named Prince (or Prinze?).

Thursday
I was awakened by Mala's conversation on the phone, telling her youngest one not to cry since she's not on her side. I had the chance to go "aawww" before I dozed a little more. Then I finally got up around 7:15am (I can't believe I wake that early), got out for some hot tea Mala made and this delicious sponge-y cake I had, couldn't remember the name. And I got the chance to be-friend Prince, the Very Fat Cat. He's friendly, I only feared his claws..

Remember what happened to the Pig in Babe movie?

2way said there's another cat named Beauty but it seemed that she couldn't be found around the apartment. Hmm, Beauty and the Prince?

Anyways, we headed off to Masjid Jamek area coz Mala had to get some fabric for Raya preps. Then we had lunch at the KLCC food court, the stall with the famous Shish Kebabs. Yum...

We bumped into another of Mala's sister, Gus and was intro-ed. Hehe 2 friends already. Oops, Mikal becomes 3rd friend. After lunch, it was all shopping. It happened so fast that all I remembered buying was the eyeliner pencils that Kavukz and Char wanted me to get, some pants, a skirt, a cool shirt that I couldn't resist but to swipe my card on, and.....I don't know what else. I was tired so I met up with Mala and Mikal at Secret Recipe. Mala was getting a little freaked just seeing me with more than just ONE shopping bag. It was around 4pm that I felt like I'm not having much time left. Walked around, and I think the lack-of-sleep symptoms started acting up. I became disoriented a little, stepping on alot of feet just walking from one end to another. I stepped on one "all covered up" lady, I apologized, but I couldn't tell by her eyes whether she said "It's okay" or "You %^$#&" or simply just smiling away. Blehh....

Gus came and abducted us to Jaya Jusco. I was so happy when I saw PDI shop. The good news? It's got 50-70% off. And the shirts are so cool and reasonable that I could hump the shop to bits bought 3 shirts there. If you leave the Pig at PDI, expect her to stay there longer than YOU will ever expect.

Had dinner at Nando's. Tried the hottest peri-peri to kill myself just to see how hot it could be. Love the chicken. Love the fries. Walked around abit then came home at about 10pm. 2way was waiting for her takeaway that she slept. The poor girl.

Was sorting out my goodies when Mala wanted to see what I bought. To be honest, this "girl" thing is a new thing to me (or have I done it before, only not realizing it?). But I find it interesting, you know, checking out what people bought. LOL, it's like seeing what goodies you and your best friend bought after grocery shopping. Is that irrelevant?

I sent an sms to Yoyo telling her I might need a box to fill my goodies. I actually didn't expect alot of shopping today. Heh, I was smiling by myself.

Showered, cleaned up, was ready to go to bed when Mala came into the bedroom.

Mala : Do you want to go out and eat?
Pig : OOoo *looks at watch, 12:30am* you troublemakers....LET'S GO!

We went to this stall that served nasi bubur berlauk (I hope I got this right) but they ran out by the time we reached. We had kerang bakar which I finally got the chance to appreciate, tomyam and chicken wings instead. All that for supper! Came home at 2am and I slept with satisfaction.

Friday
Woke up around 8:20am. Got an sms from Char telling me that Mom encourages me to use my credit card. Where can you find a Paris Hilton-ey Mom like that? Oh and just so you know, I'm not carrying a supplementary card so it doesn't mean she's purely a Paris Hilton-ey Mom who's gonna pay at the end of the month. Haha...

Spent the whole day at One Utama. Went to Esprit and got meself 2 pants. I got a few other stuff then after that we settled for Chili's for dinner at 4pm. LOL, I know, too early for dinner. They serve margaritas which I was so tempted to have it but I would only waste it since I'm gonna be full with this yummylicious BBQ Ranch I ordered...

Need I say more?

I dropped by MPH bookstore to fulfill my Piggy needs and instead of getting good thought provoking fiction books which was the reason I come back to MPH, I actually stumbled across my favourite comic book I was dying to have (and forgot to put in my To-Buy list) in the Comic section. And I almost never touch the Comic sections in any bookstore. I looked at price, abit pricey, BUY anyways. For things like these, a priced possession, why think twice?

Left One Utama around 6:30, packed my bags and got 2way to send me over to Yoyo's place. And we actually didn't do much except watching the Olympics opening ceremony. Kenix wasn't feeling well so I suggested that we skip the outting. Slept around 1am I think.

Saturday
Woke up at 8am. Cleaned up, Yoyo actually see that I didn't need a box when I said I needed one. And she proved me wrong. She started rolling all my shirts and voila, my luggage fits! Yoyo my saviour!

I'm sure I could've thought of that idea of "rollin". *ego ego ego ego*

Had breakfast around Wangsa Maju area. Met Vivian, conversation was very brief coz she had to be at work. Kenix was supposed to be at work too but her boss called and told her there's a rally of 10,000 people over at HSBC area and suggested that she didn't turn up for work. Wohooo...Johnson came over and joined us for breakfast. He even offered to drive me to KL Sentral which was nice of him.

It was a bumpy flight home because there were alot of cotton candies up where I was. I hate it when the plane moves like a lorry on bumpy road. Especially when in the air.

What more can I say...I'm home! And my spendings can now appear on E! News in Forbes Top 100 Porky Splurges. Wootz!

Oh yeah, I must remember to post up something about shisha/hookah.

Du Du Du...

See It Through / Out Of Office

A buddy of mine sent me this....

See It Through

When you're up against a trouble,
Meet it squarely, face to face;
Lift your chin and set your shoulders,
Plant your feet and take a brace.

When it's vain to try to dodge it,
Do the best that you can do;
You may fail, but you may conquer,
See it through!

Black may be the clouds about you
And your future may seem grim,
But don't let your nerve desert you;
Keep yourself in fighting trim.

If the worst is bound to happen,
Spite of all that you can do,
Running from it will not save you,
See it through!
Even hope may seem but futile,
When with troubles you're beset,
But remember you are facing
Just what other men have met.

You may fail, but fall still fighting;
Don't give up, whate'er you do;
Eyes front, head high to the finish.
See it through!

-------------------------------------------------

I'm leaving for KL tonite. Piagster needs her time-off from Miri life. Please do not stalk me during my vacation. I'm not Brangelina.

Anyways, you people have a nice day while I go have a fantabulous time. Haha!!

Till then!!

Time To Say Goodbye...

[ Andrea Bocelli's "Time To Say Goodbye" plays in the background ]

Goodbye my dear ASUS friend. You've made me happy in so many ways...

You've had Ares and Bitcomet to give me umpteen songs and umpteen movies. Winamp to play my songs. VLC to play my movies. ACDC to help me edit my photos. Mozilla for the multiple tabs and especially Facebook Chat. And blog.

I wuv you my ASUS friend and I want to tell you that I will never forget what you've done to me and for me. It's been a wonderful 4 years....until you have multiple internal failure and could no longer respond to me.

For that I would like to thank you.

Goodbye.

[ Muse's "New Born" fades in, and Pig starts smashing and banging laptop on floor ]

I'm such a nuisance to myself.
