Badminton Tournament / Yoyo

Updates updates...

Sharkey and I has just enrolled ourselves in the KRP Closed Badminton Tournament. We submitted our registration form on Wednesday and just knew that the tournament starts on the coming Monday.........which leaves us only less than a week to practice. Wow, that came up abit of a shock really.

Oh God, what have we gotten ourselves into...I totally set myself up. And if my memory's correct, this ain't the first time I did this to myself.....

I was truly up for the fun and thrill of losing. I mean, what good is a hobby of badminton without really putting your skillz at test eh?

Game schedule was finalised on Friday and guess what, there are only 3 teams of women's double competing. The winning positions are Champion, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up. So, Sharkey and I thought, regardless if we win or lose, we still get something. But I'd be damned if we get 2nd runner up. Perhaps we should aim for a 1st runner up. But as I said, fun and thrill of losing....fun and thrill of losing. And we're playing this Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Erm...if any of you are intending to come to support the Piagster (or Sharkey) or anyone else, no pom poms please.....don't embarrass yourselves (this also applies to the Boobai who's coming to support).

I'm excited and nervous already, heh.....

We had our first practice on Friday and wow, Sharkey's got power, wooo....me likey. Piagster has got no power. Thus, Piagster ends up covering front. First practice was extreme. I fucking regret having to overstuff during lunch. I mean, I thought I needed more for the evening energy. Turns out the lunch was still swimming inside my porkbelly for the past 5 hours. Rita got me playing more game sets than I could handle that I almost deteriorate. Was soooo pooped when I got home. But I still practiced my backhand before I slept. It's rare to sleep early on Friday nights...

Woke up early the next day feeling like a bus had hit me, for our 2nd practice at KRP. Played with Sharkey's group and ermm, looking at our collaboration, I still think we could make it. Not doubting my partner...

Now I really feel as if a train had hit me....

Owh, Yoyo and Kenix are flying east to Miri soon! Woohoooo!!! I've got peeps to fill my weekend! They're bringing 2 other friends, Vivian and Piagster's-new-friend-to-be. This might turn out to be a disaster interesting.
