Is it a sin to talk to your "fasting" colleague about food? I feel guilty...
I was talking to Mala about food and then I had this painful craving for apam balek. I love apam balek. I dropped by the pasar malam at Saberkas after work to get it. Got stucked in the jam while getting out of Saberkas. Ended up eating the apam balek in the car. Yum...

So I'd like to talk about what my friends and I did during Merdeka. We went up to Bandar S. Begawan to fulfill our sushi dreams. I was subconsciously appointed as the executive coordinator, confirming with everyone the time, the agenda and programme, the attendance, and the confirmation of our hotel, checklistings...my goodness, it was as if I'm still working on a holiday! Hahahaha. But I know this is worth it.
The planned schedule...
1) Two cars to meet at Rach's place at 0830hrs. Vinz to bring breakfast on the way.
2) Leave Oil Town by 0900hrs. Reach Eve's place in K-Belait between 0930-0945hrs to use her cute Vitara to go up Bandar S. Begawan.
3) Leave K-Belait between 0945-1000hrs to reach Bandar S. Begawan by 1230hrs since we booked Excapade at 1230hrs. If we arrived early we'll just lepak around.
4) Lunch for 1 hour then head to The Mall. Leave Bandar S. Begawan by 1530hrs to K-Belait.
5) Get goodies from Supa Save.
6) Head back to Oil Town and check into Marriott by 2000hrs. Send goodies back to Pig's home, then maybe head back to hotel for swim or maybe dine out somewhere.
7) Adjourn after check-out.
The actual scene...
We all met up at Rach's place between 0845-0900hrs. Left for K-Belait 0920hrs. Reached Eve's place around 1000hrs. Hopped into Eve's car, picked her friend Jacq around 1030hrs and headed off to Bandar S. Begawan. I really thought we'd be late but we arrived Bandar half an hour earlier than expected!! Wow, we were behind time.....yet somehow we appeared to be ahead of time. We started our sushi feastin'...

So we left Bandar S. Begawan at 1500hrs. Did our grocery shopping at Supa Save, headed back to Oil Town and arrived home around 1915hrs to drop off the goods, then checked into Marriott by 2000hrs. Wow, some timing. Vinz and Rach joined us later.
Was so pooped by the time we got into our room. Felt like going for a nice warm shower and sleep. Actually, I thought of going for a swim, then a warm shower, then sleep. Instead, we were out for our late dinner, then back to hotel, and watched tv.
Woke up with eyebags (you can never get enough sleep with any group activities). Had breakfast at Pete's Deli. Aah, brings back memories of our college days. The days I will always remember and miss. Lotsa things started at Brighton Road.
Checked out, came back home around 2pm. Cleaned up and then lie on my comfy bed. I told myself I'll just close my eyes and feel the coolness of the bedsheets and pillows and wake up to watch tv or check emails or maybe....*zzzzzzzzzz* I woke up at 6:30pm instead.
This is truly an accidental procastination. Hahaha.....
