That Beer & Sports don't go together for the Pig.
Never can. Never will.
You see, Elsa and I, we brought up the idea to try beer & badminton. It started off as a joke, it then became a plan, and a dare. Unsure of the situation, but tried it anyways.
We met at Island and started having a couple of mugs. Me being a cheap drunk, I was already feeling good after the first mug. Elsa's colleague, Ivy joined abit later. Nic and her boyfriend came and joined for a jug. Nic's boyfriend is very cute, very fun, very friendly, and so happened to be my colleague too. Elsa's boyfriend joined later as well. I truly never thought this would end up to be a group drinking session. But then again, most of my plans don't really stick to the plan. It gets better. =)
There was alot of crap exchanging going on since that time on. I started feeling more high on my 4th mug (I've never had more than 2). The biggest mistake? Tequila shot. And oh, didn't we say we were gonna go play badminton? Weellllll.........*hic* someone has raised a deviation. It was 7:40pm when...
Karen : Badminton? *hic*
Elsa : *stares blankly* Badminton...?
Karen : *grins* Badminton....*hic*
Elsa : *shakes head left and right* Badminton...
Karen : *pouts* No badminton? *hic*
Elsa : No badminton...
I was feeling so lightheaded at that moment I had to take it out. That was a sign that we needed food so we headed off to Seahorse. I followed Ivy's car because I didn't think I could drive in that state of trance. I apologized to Ivy for troubling her but she said she's totally fine with it. I have to say the journey to get to Seahorse was abit of a nightmare. Especially when Ivy started blasting her speakers, playing those fast chinese techno tracks (WHO F-ing LISTENS TO THAT???) it made my stomach feeling like a blender. I thought I could bear with it but after 1 minute of torture, I had to tell her to stop at the roadside so I could...you know, throw up. After that I helped myself to lower the volume. Ivy, if you get to read this, you were very kind to me. It's just that my ears are not fast-chinese-techno-friendly.
I felt better after food. The fried kueh tiaw at Seahorse is nice! I came home around 10:30pm. It was a relief to find that Mom's already asleep because I would expect she'd ask me if I was playing badminton in my jeans or doing something else. Jengjengjengjeng....
For that I have concluded for myself....Beer & Sports don't go together.
